Regulatory Disclosures

What we are registered for, the risk warnings that apply to each product, and where to complain if something goes wrong.

Last updated 5 November 2026.

This page gathers the disclosures that apply to the products we distribute and the regulators that oversee them. It is a plain-language summary. The regulator's rules, the scheme or product documents and your agreement with the product provider prevail over this summary.

Who we are and what we are registered for

  • Mutual funds: Dhanishi Ventures Pvt Ltd is an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor, ARN-353655.
  • Portfolio management services (PMS): we are registered with the Association of Portfolio Managers in India (APMI) as a PMS distributor, APRN-08442.
  • Insurance (life and general): offered through M/s. Honeybee Finlife, a partnership firm and group entity of Dhanishi Ventures, in association with multiple insurers, under the individual agency licence held by its partner, issued under the IRDAI regulations.
  • Loans: we introduce and help you apply to banks and financial institutions. We are not a lender. Every loan is approved, priced and disbursed by the lender.
  • SIF, PMS and AIF: we distribute these products of SEBI-registered managers. We do not manage money, and we do not provide investment advice.

Registration does not guarantee the performance of any intermediary or an assurance of returns to investors.

Mutual funds and Specialised Investment Funds (SEBI, AMFI)

  • Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks. Read all scheme-related documents carefully before investing.
  • Past performance is not indicative of future returns. Returns are not guaranteed, and the value of your investment can go down as well as up.
  • Specialised Investment Funds (SIF) are subject to market risks and to the minimum investment requirements prescribed by SEBI. Read the scheme information documents before investing.
  • As a distributor we earn commission from asset management companies on regular plans. Direct plans carry no distributor commission; you can invest in them directly with the fund house. Ask us for details of the commission we receive on any scheme you are considering.
  • Pay for mutual fund units only to the scheme or the fund house, never to us or any individual. Cheques and transfers must be in the name of the scheme.
  • Complete the one-time KYC before investing, and check your account statements and the details your fund house sends you.

Check a distributor's registration on the AMFI website ↗ and fund details on SEBI ↗.

Portfolio management services and AIFs (SEBI, APMI)

  • Investments in PMS and Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) are subject to market risks, including the loss of capital, and are meant for investors who can bear these risks.
  • SEBI prescribes minimum investment amounts for each category (at present ₹50 lakh for PMS and ₹1 crore for most AIFs); please check the latest requirement before investing.
  • Read the disclosure document of the portfolio manager, or the private placement memorandum and investment strategy of the AIF, carefully before you decide.
  • Past performance does not guarantee future results. Performance data shown by a manager is as reported by that manager.
  • We receive distribution fees from managers for some products; ask us for the details.

Insurance (IRDAI)

  • Insurance is the subject matter of solicitation. For more details on risk factors, terms and conditions, please read the sales brochure carefully before concluding a sale.
  • IRDAI is not involved in activities such as selling insurance policies, announcing bonus or investment of premiums. Members of the public who receive such phone calls are requested to lodge a police complaint.
  • Beware of spurious phone calls and fictitious or fraudulent offers. Never share OTPs, passwords or card details.
  • The policy is a contract between you and the insurer. Disclose all facts truthfully in the proposal form; wrong or missing information can affect a claim.
  • You have a free-look period after receiving a policy, as stated in the policy document.

Loans (RBI)

  • Loans are subject to the lender's credit assessment and approval. Interest rates, fees, charges and tenure are decided by the lender and may change.
  • Read the key fact statement, the loan agreement and the schedule of charges before you sign. Borrow only what you can repay.
  • We will never ask you to pay a fee to us or to a private account in order to get a loan sanctioned. Fees payable to a lender should be paid only to the lender, against a receipt.
  • Check that the lender is regulated by the Reserve Bank of India before you share documents or sign.
