About the goal SIP calculator
Most goals, such as a home, a car, a wedding or a world trip, cost more in the future than they do today. This calculator first inflates today’s cost to the year you need the money, then works out the monthly SIP that would reach it.
The formula
i = inflation, r = annual return ÷ 12, N = months to goal.
Frequently asked questions
Why include inflation?
Prices rise every year. A goal that costs ₹10 lakh today could cost about ₹18 lakh in ten years at 6% inflation; planning for today’s price leaves a gap.
